At pre school we work very closely with Ramsey Manor lower school. ‘Values education’ has been successfully adopted by Ramsey and we believe to support our commitment to creating a calm and positive environment and important continuity for you and your child, our pre school will also use values education to support your child’s personal development.

Values education is a way of supporting children’s first steps in becoming a member of the community, using six basic values that are simple for young children to understand and are reflected in the pre-schools ethos. Staff will use language, resources, books and displays that will reflect a different value to them each term.

The six chosen values are:

Co-operation and understanding,

Sharing and caring

Respect

By adopting values education our pre schools feels we can create a positive framework as well as positive relationships that your child will recognise as they progress and make the next transition.
