Nature Garden

Our lovely new Nature Garden is at the front of Pre-School. We have a mud kitchen fully equipped with pots and pans, a woodwork bench and a shelter. There are plants, a tiny pond, a bird feeder, flower pot men and mud!  It’s a place where the children can get hands on with and learn about nature and no one is telling them not to get dirty! We provide all children with waterproofs but do ask that you bring a warm coat in cold weather.

One of our senior members of staff has recently started her Forest School Training and this means that we will soon be able to offer Forest School activities as well.

Forest School is an opportunity for your child to experience nature and the outdoor environment in a safe, secure and hands on way. Our “Forest” is in our little nature garden and we also hope to make use of Ramsey Manor Lower Schools’ “Lively Land” as appropriate. We will be writing to all parents soon with permission forms for the Forest School activities.
