Barton Le Clay Pre-School is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1023883). Our main income is from the government funding received for the funded children. These fees only cover our rent, staff salaries and insurance. Fundraising meets all other costs. For example toys, books, equipment,paint, paper, provisions etc are all provided by fundraising. So in order to purchase new equipment or pay for visitors that will enhance children's learning, we must Fundraise! Our Fundraisers are committee members, many with children at Pre-School and they stage different events to generate funds throughout the year. Our latest project raised enough funds to provide the children with a brand new Touch screen computer and a Fridge Freezer. Below is a calendar of some of the events coming up to help raise valuable funds. We currently have just a few fundraisers who are working very hard and would really like some help, so if you can spare any time or have any fundraising ideas please let us know. Upcoming Fundraising Events Our Fathers Fun Day was a massive success and raised a whopping £900! With such a fabulous amount we were able to order our Touch Screen Computer, a gorgeous new Art Trolley and a Fridge Freezer! Barton-Le-Clay Pre-school has recently set up an account and we are, therefore, trying to encourage parents and friends to use this service when purchasing online. There are over 200 of the UK's best known retailers including many popular names such as NEXT, Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis and HMV. Just shop using the links on their site and for every purchase you make a percentage of this (up to 15% in some cases) will be donated straight to our preschool. It doesn't cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds for our cause using their site.
